Did you take out the battery and put it back in?

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

Where was the phone when you were in wash room? Moisture problem?

Possibly a hardware issue with having a different charger attached to the BB?

Hi thanks for the reply,

For information, i didnt bring my BB along in the washroom. I left it on my computer table for charging. i have checked the HTC charger, the voltage and the current is the same. meaning it should not be the caused.

so, now i left my BB without battery almost 30+ hours. just waiting for midnight i will try to put back the battery. see how. wish me luck.

thanks. LOVES MY BB BOLD>

just adding my two cents: this is one of the worst problems ever; the phone just leaves you completely in the dark with no warning signs or symptoms when it does this. mine just came back to life 3 days later, how strange.

My son had this issue with his BlackBerry. Left it over 24 hrs twice without a battery and nothing. Put it away for 3 days while waiting on a replacement. After the 3 days, we put the battery in and it was fine... Needless to say it went back and we kept the replacement, but it sometimes takes several days to reset.

It would be very helpful if you could tell us exactly what you have done so far. That way we won't be posting already tried potential fixes and wasting time.

My 9000 died and wouldn't turn on. Put in a replacement battery and it worked fine.
