Angry BB Today

Please Login to Remove!

I just downloaded BBToday...for my 8330 curve. I get a message "bad or missing query parameters in request". Can anyone help?

Also, BBweather..."No weather profiles specified"...I don't know how to load profiles...

Please advise...thanks.

scrap BBToday, its not needed. and in BBWeather, click the trackball after it says "no weather profiles" and select options, then press menu on the profiles and add profile, enter your zip code for location.

there might be further steps to get it working, but this is a good start.

Welcome to the BBForums.

BBWeather, you do need to enter a profile. Open the application > Menu > Options > Menu > Add. Enter your zipcode in the Location ID and City in the Description.

For BBToday and BBWeather both, make sure you have your TCP settings entered: What are the TCP and APN settings? - BlackBerryFAQ

After loading you may need to do a reboot by removing the battery while the device is still powered on. See if it persists.

I know several people who still use BBToday. For one who would want it, it is "needed" (although I did quit using BBToday a few months ago after the stock ticker quick working and has never been fixed).

The only reason to really use BBToday is for the stock ticker, and I cant seem to get that to work. IMO BBWeather, Beyond411, and Live Search cover most everything else.

I mean if I could get it to work correctly, I guess its a nice little app with everything all in one place. But its pretty limited in terms of expansion, details, and multiple weather profiles.

I hope im not starting an app war....

I have tried the BBweather & I keep getting this error: "Invalid url parameter"...this is after I have entered the zipcodes for the places I want to keep tabs on...does anyone know how to fix this, or should I just delete BBweather and BBtoday? Thanks for responding...

Make sure you have the latest version of BBWeather (0.77) as older versions don't work!

That is only for Tmobile. What are the TCP and APN settings? - BlackBerryFAQ is the link JS posted that has more information.
