Default The last BB or OS to have auto on/off ??

Please Login to Remove!

I've tried google searches and forum searches, but can't find out, so here's my question:

Which was the last BB or BB OS to have the auto on/off feature that so many of us loved, but which RIM dropped for no good reason?

I've been in iphone land for a few years, but just powered up my old 8220 flip to look for something and was reminded of this issue: it's the only thing that keeps me from just buying a newer BB, but I can live with an earlier phone if it has that feature.

Anyone? Please and thank you.

Blackberry phones up to 9900 have an option to auto power off. OS 10 devices do not.

go to blackberry.com and read the manuals on the phones you want from the 9900 down. Check the power option sections.

Thank you, that helps a lot!

Too bad the BB website now only allows you to compare current devices.

One more question if I may?

Which was the last device to NOT feature a touch screen AND feature auto on/off?

(I've read enough comments about accidental touches being a PITA)

Check out the 9780 . various reviews on the internet.

Blackberry's web site has deteriorated to almost useless for older devices. They also murdered their Knowledge Base site.
Again so goes the executive understanding of the market and customers needs.
