On O2 in the UK.
Both BIS and my BES connection seem to be very slow. 16:00 - 17:00 GMT
While typing this post, it seems to have got a bit better.

Working fine in Bucks County, PA too. I had some trouble with GMail 1.51. Delete then re-install cleared it up.

AT&T BIS - Washington Dc area - Something was down. I hadn't received any gmail all morning. As soon as I resent service books, I got a flood of gmail.

I had a similar issue this morning. My 8320 showed full EDGE. I turned on the WiFi radio and then about 15 e-mails came through. Strange...

I am in So CA. I get server errors when I tried to log into the following sites using the default browser
Google Homepage
Google Reader Mobile
Google Calendar Mobile
However, they work just fine with Opera Mini 4; and I don't think I have problems of receiving Google email (push) thou.

Hmm. My browser has been REALLY flaky over the last 2 days, especially today. Email delivery, so far, seems somewhat normal....

im here in phoenix on verizon BIS - im VERY slow, noticed it yesterday. browser is slugging along barely. everything is slow, seems to be delayed though im getting full EVDO bars. maybe an outage that we just haven't heard about yet? also downloaded the new gmail 1.5.1. which is supposed to be so much faster than the old one, but its super slow too...hopefully a result of a possible outage, not the program itself

this may sound dumb, but how do you officially know if there's an outage? does RIM send a press release? can you email an address letting them know of network problems? or do you essentially just wait until it fixes itself?

I'm in Florida on AT&T. Yahoo Messenger has been awful for about 24 hours. The browsers are barely working. Sometimes I show data coverage, and sometimes I don't. Battery pulls and HRT registrations hardly do anything. I'd say it's RIM.

In my only few months experience with RIM and blackberry, I personally have experienced more than several of these service "brown-outs."
I think RIM simply just doesn't offer the same quality of service to BIS users, as they do BES users.

E-mail for me is good, but browsing isn't as fast as it usually is, even with WiFi enabled. This too shall pass...
