I ordered one a few days ago......

My tip on installing one of these...is use a large plate of water with maybe 2 drops of soap in it..... dip you FINGER Tips into the water, then peal back the skin...it will help u not leave finger prints on the skin itself if your fingers are wet. dip the skin in the water and shake off the excess slightly...

good luck!

I usually buy two in case it's not perfect or after time they start peeling off.

I also keep a paper towel handy to suck up any extra liquid. I also take the battery out just in case. Not sure if that does anything but does give me a bit more piece of mind.
The manufacturer recommends taking the battery out too.

its pretty much an invisible skin that goes on the device. you wont even really be able to tell is there. totally worth it!

I've had great luck with Best Skins Ever on my Pearl for a few years. I agree with one of the other posters, buy two and take your time. Follow the directions with a small drop of soap, let it dry overnight. Small bubbles that you don't get initially will gradually disappear.

I've done so many of these already that I no longer read them. Good to know though.

With BSE on will the 8900 still fit into a holster?

Yes, it will still fit in the holster. The skin is thinner than a sheet of paper.

This is an FYI for those of you that were planning on also getting a Seidio innocase to be used in conjunction with the Javelin. The fit is very tight and I am having trouble clicking the pieces together and I am assuming it is because of the skin.

Seidio cases are so tight that you shouldn't use a BSE or similar product and try and cram it into the Innocase. That would probably wreck the BSE.
