Default Transfer Excel files to BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

Have installed new Windows 7 PC, transferred files from old PC--fine.
Purchased BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G--installed BB Desktop Software and Synced Calendar & Tasks in MS Outlook with BB--fine.

I now want to transfer an Excel file (in xls or csv form) to BB. DocsToGo pre-installed on BB.

BUT: BB Desktop Software appears to allow Import Data from BB to PC but I can't work out how to do the reverse! Sync clearly shows routines for one-way, the other-way and both-ways transfers.

Help please! How do I transfer a copy of an Excel file from PC to BB? In a form in which I can use it on the BB--AND transfer back to PC any changes.

Merry Christmas to anyone who reads this and a VERY Happy New Year to the person who solves my problem!!

Do you have a media card installed?

Well, I assume so! It is a new Dell PC--just checked programs: there is Windows Media Center (haven't run it yet) and Windows Media Player. Sorry to be dim (70 year old non-techie)
Thanks for interest, hope you can help

The media card would be in the blackberry. By installed, I mean do you have one and has it been put in the phone?
If so, you can transfer your excel document to the media card and open from there on your blackberry.

Apologies for long delay. Re. media card, I discovered while away for a week when fiddling around that the excel file had indeed transferred from PC to BB via media card!! So I now have my precious full address book with 150 entries on my BlackBerry wiht all the information I have systematically built up on my beloved Psion (alas no more!) and backed up on old PC.

Success is now almost complete: address book, calendar/diary, phone book now on BB which now equals old Nokia 6210 phone + Psion. Just got email contacts to transfer from Outlook now.

THanks for your expert advice--really appreciated.
