Hello,
I am on rogers in vancouver Canada. I am wondering if I need to pay an extra fee monthly to use the GPS? Do Canadians apply for free shipping as well?

Does anyone else here think the picture is a bad quality? And not big enough?
Is that a key next to it?
Anyway, since Freedom is in UK, I am guessing it's not available for USA.

What picture are you referring to?
The Freedom Mini GPS is available for USA. I ordered one last week and received it five days later.

Does Freedom Mini GPS have the calculation for planning or re-calculating route when you miss the point?

That is a function of the software being used with the GPS receiver. TeleNav has this feature but the free apps like bbmaps and google maps do not.

So does anyone have any feedback as to how well the product works? With the leak of the Curve date for T-mobile, this is now high on my priority list and will enable me to not have to buy another TomTom!
I'm specifically curious to know how well it works from the Keychain.
Chris, you have a few potential buyers on your hands! Do you have stock again now?

Have you looked at the two reviews of the Freedom Mini GPS Receiver on this forum? They will give you some feedback.
The following link to another thread on this Forum answers your specific question on how well it works from the keychain. Apologies it is quite a long thread but the post is there!

I do have stock at the moment but it does move very quickly!

Freedom Mini GPS Receiver
The product works great, really does. It says accuracy within 20 meters, about 60 feet but I tested it while walking and it was accurate to much less(probably 10-20 feet). Also, it communicates with satellites very easily, haven't had to remove it from the keychain at all, it even worked while my keys were sitting on the floor while I was a passenger, navigating. The only issue I have is not with the puck, but I would like to use it with software that provides voice prompts, without having to pay a monthy fee. Haven't found that yet. Have been using Google Maps, which is great but no voice prompts, a little problemmatic while driving.

Try Mapquest Navigator. It works great for the price (free) and provides voice prompts.

Where did you find it? Off of the Mapquest site, it says it is only available for Sprint and Nextel phones...
