Have been using my device for two weeks now. It was fine during the 1st week, but I randomly notice the hourglass (30seconds plus) while :

1. Unlocking the device
2. Searching for a location in Google Maps
3. Browsing pictures etc ?

Tried a cold reboot but no luck. Anyone notice similar issues ?

Yes, did a battery pull. More testing today and I noticed that the delay doesn't happen while the device is connected to a WiFi network.

Maybe this is a delay when the device is trying to wait for data from the network ?

Could be. Are you in an area with a strong signal when it happens?
