I updated the BB software in my 8830,
When i di so the BB Maps disappeared. It will not re-load. It said my phone does not meet minimum requirements,... but it has had maps on it for a couple years till now.

I also had the same issue and so far cannot figure out why.I have a 8310 with a built in GPS. I will keep looking

Go into BlackBerry Desktop Manager and install it from there. Be sure that the phone OS is installed on your compter. You can't install it OTA.

If the user didn't select BBMaps (or any other app) during the upgrade, then it won't be installed.

BBMaps is part of the OS so it's not currently available as a separate installation.
