Default BES 5.0 SP2 Error

Please Login to Remove!

Hallo all,

i did update my testsystem of BES 5.01 with Domino 8.5.1 FP1. Now, i can see each 20 minutes the following entry in domino console

21.07.2010 16:46:59 Unable to construct Notes string for TZ id=16448
21.07.2010 16:46:59 Unable to construct Notes string for TZ id=16450
21.07.2010 16:46:59 Unable to construct Notes string for TZ id=16451
21.07.2010 16:46:59 Unable to construct Notes string for TZ id=16452

In MAGT Logfile i can see this entry

[30000] (07/21 16:46:59.002):{0x3EC} Wrong DST switch mode=2. Currently only mode 0 and 1 are supported

Is this a known issue and what can i do against it?

Lotus Domino 8.5.1 FP1 und BES 5.0.2

Ty

Default See the same since 5.0.2 Upgrade

Same on our servers and it started right after the upgrade. Domino is 8.5.1 FP2.

Strange thing is my BES is working fine. No message flow issue nor calendar time issue so far... how about the rest of you?

this mean unsupported time zones. In this instance, DST Switch mode 2 applies to Iran and Iraq time zones that are present on the BlackBerry smartphone, but have not yet been designed for Windows Server®, Lotus Domino Server, or the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Default Thanks

RIM's support confirmed the same for our servers.

The log lines are informational and caused by inactive rows in the DST related SQL tables, but are of no concern.

QUESTION : Has anyone seen an increase in HUNG threads since 5.0.2 Upgrade ? I am noticing about 5 threads hang in a 2hr window.

Most are released in 10-30min, but one last night continued for over 60min and caused the controller to restart the Domino server.

Nope, my BES Domino 5.0.2 runs fine. Hung threads (denotes by *** No Response *** log lines in MAGT log) are mainly caused by ENV issues rather than BES software itself. E.g. heavily loaded mail servers, congested network conditions, a change in network traffic due to network hardware configurations changes etc... Any recents changes internally? You may like to check those.
