Sorry in advance if this is a really basic question but I am a new BB user and have a problem. Under messages I can not tell email messages apart from text messages without looking at the message itself. This causes a problem when I go to respond......ie if I respond to an email address and not that person's text message they may not get it until they get to work....
Any thoughts on how to fix this problem I would appreciate.

___update: I changed my theme to the verizon one from Dimension TOday and I do see a slight variation in the message icon next to text messages vs. email messages. Unfortunately the Today theme I like better for the calander events being on the home screen...oh well

On the 8830, you can segregate text messages and e-mail messages into different inboxes.

Messages > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes = Separate.

Thanks....that helps....is there a way to quickly switch between inbox of emails and inbox of sms without having to go through the folder tree?

Yep, hit the RED hangup key, and then click the correct mail box.

sorry dont understand....I am in the email folder and I hit the red hangup key and it takes me to the main screen.

When in the messages screen you can also hit Alt+s to bring up the sms messages, then the back key to get to emails

The headers should be completely different as well. SMS doesn't have subject lines, right (as one example)?
