Are you syncing with Outlook? Are you using Exchange / BES?

The easiest way would be to import the address book into your Outlook and sync it up.

If you are using a BES, you can do lookups on the GAL remotely as well.

Good luck...

If you are using BES, someone used a USB hub and connected 8 BlackBerries simultaneously to a computer for purposes such as installing software and contact information (BES server?). I heard you can connect many BlackBerries to the same BES server at the same time.

This is a "BES Admin Corner" question, so I am moving it there.

I was in the same position.
The best way to get a shared contact list on everyones bb is:

Put the contact list in a public folder.
In desktop manager, ADD that public folder to the Configure PIM -> address book section.

This way, whenever they sync the bb they'll have a centrally manages contact list on the device.

Note- make sure they don't have edit permission to the public folder or any changes they make will show up on everyone elses bb.

For some reason many of the BB experts online don't understand why anyone would want to do this?
