Question caching contacts

Please Login to Remove!

hello there

i was wondering if there's any way to cache contacts onto blackberrry phones.

let me explain we use bes. last night exchanged crashed and bes with it.

existing emails and appointments were still available after the crash, but not the contacts.

is there any way to keep the contacts on the phone without copying them to the sim?

Which contacts are you talking about? Users' own in their Outlook Address Books, or data from the GAL?

You cannot push contacts from the GAL onto the BlackBerry. If the user does a remote lookup, the result can remain on the BlackBerry as long as you don't delete them.

By default in Exchange BES, the user's Outlook contacts should sync OTA with the Address Book on the BB.

Is the behaviour that you specified the same for all users?
