we have an old bes 4 server and a new bes express 5 server. we are in the process of also doing a mailbox move from Exchange 2003 to 2010. all seems to have been working well exchange 2010 users are being activated on bes express 5 and working great.

the issue we are having is with 3 users all in China/Hong Kong who have blackberry's with China Mobile.

the bes and e mail servers are both UK based

I have moved a user in china from exchange 2003 to 2010 and so have had to get him to wipe his handheld and re activate but it seems to be failing and the reason I think is because the blackberry network e mail is not hitting his mailbox. I think the issue is related to china mobile as when I try and activate that user on a UK based blackberry it goes through perfectly and activates 1st time

has anyone had any issues with activating via china mobile?

I've not got any users on that network, sorry.

I do have a RIM T-Support contract though. So if you get the user's PIN and IMEI, and send it to me in a PM, I can run it through the RIM "EA Activation Readiness Test" and see what it says...
