password protect your bb so you have to type in a password or turn mass storage mode off when connected to computer i think you can do that

If it is a computer you don't have control of then no there is not much you can do.

you can, as mentioned above, password protect the device. it will prompt you on the device to type in the password to enter mass storage mode, even if the device is unlocked. at this point you can just refuse to enter the password and MSM is now off.

The OP wants to access the Media Card the issue is when using someone elses computer like mine, when an external media device is attached my computer will automatically grab the media off and place it on my computer without prompts. So when the OP tries to get to a file to email they experience this issue on a computer they don't have direct control over.

To hide the application, just scroll to it in your application viewer, Option Button, then Hide.

You can also make a new folder on the Applications screen, create nested folders inside of that as desired, and hide the Media Player application down in there. Name the folder something innocent (Profiles for example) and then someone would have to surf down several levels to get to the player app.

Other than that....I'd say keep the sensitive stuff off your phone.

How do you create a nested folder within a folder? I've tried that and was unable to.
