I think you are right, people usually buy a white car because it shows less dirt than a black one. I still love my Black BB Pearl, looks sleek and stylish.

Exactly, why sell a case for 40 when you can sell a phone with a 2 yr contract for 200.

I was just joking actually. But a chromed one would look pretty slick huh? Mine is in a case, so you can barely see any of the color anyway.

I think the white Pearl is much more "girly". I would imagine a girl with a white Pearl being pretty hot ... much like the old days of a girl in a VW Cabriolet.

All the stores around me have live working Pearls on display. I used one to make a phone call before i bought mine, just to see how good the call quality was.

I had a black one originally, but we had some problems with our spam filtering (it wouldnt let the RIM messages in or out so the push email didnt work at all) and I returned it while still in the 14 day trial. The one thing I noticed while I had it was the fingerprints were everywhere on it.
A couple weeks ago we got the problem with the spam filter solved and I went back to re-purchase the pearl. This time I got the white one. The black one did look better, until you started using it and it got all smudged up. the white one doesnt show ANY smudges at all.
