Default OS difference

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB 8703e with verizon. It has OS v4.1.0344. What is the difference between the one I have and the most recent download I think BlackBerry 8703e™ / Pkg:4.1.0.518, App:4.1.0.373,

What is the benefit to upgrade?

Thanks

Marc

Release notes are generally not published. RIM apparently sends them to the carriers, who do not release them.

Generally an upgrade like that is unnecessary for you unless you are experiencing problems. That is a patch release, which must be warranted to fix some issues, but if you don't have any problems don't worry.

You likely won't get any new functionality with a release such as the one you are considering.

I hope that helps.

This is terrific advice !

You cannot go wrong by following it. It will save a lot of time & trouble.
