We faced 3 crashes yesterday and the last one had sufficient crash data. The issues is linked to BES Agent while processing a specific type of HTML email. The issue has been fixed in MR2 which has not been released. Didn't install MR1 as the issue has not been resolved in MR1.

Wondering if anyone else facing similar issues? and any other resolutions for this issue ?

I have seen at least 4 similar instances already. The newest BES 4.1.7 and 5.0.1 included a feature call HTML Tidy to clean up HTML messages, but the function ends up crashing the BES. You will noticed error in Domino console like this:-

Process NBES.EXE has terminated abnormally.

And yeah MR2 should fix it.

RIM provided the software and it's installed on our Primary box. No crash in the last few days.

The install has issues with the controller service. The BES 5.x is on a Windows 2008 64 bit OS.
--> RESOLUTION : For the controller service, change the LOG ON to Local System and install the software.
