Delete both the MMS config and MMS Wap transport service books, then register via HRT (it's the relay which deals these),then try a text only MMS to yourself.

If you receive this try adding a picture, if all is still good then add a picture, if you get this try from another device type on the same network.

Most operators run "content adaption" on their MMSc's, the role of this is to tailor content so that it displays correctly on the retrieving device. If you are receiving MMS wthout the picture then your operator is either not running C.A , the table which contains device capability is missing the device, or the table is erred in respect to the device.

If you are not receiving MMS from a particular network then you've either number ported from them and they've failed to delete your subscriber entry from their own MMSc, the MMS header is corrupt or the issue is across the board from that network to yours.

There are other foibles possible but these cover the major ones.

cheers

edit - this is ommiting obvious things like firewall, deny push and such

A friend just sent me an MMS, but I recieved it as a text message telling me to go to www.t-mobilepictures.com to retrieve the picture. I haven't had that happen since I had my sidekick3 which didn't have MMS capability. This same friend has sent me MMS messages before to my Curve, pictures included, with no problem.

Any ideas? Should I do the stuff listed above, or is there maybe a known issue with T-Mobile and MMS right now?

Send an MMS to yourself or a friend, then have your friend resent it. This is a network issue with T-Mobile. It appears the network does not know you can receive MMS. The above fixes that.
