Hey guys, been frustrated here for hours trying to figure out how to delete the duplicate email icons on my Blackberry Curve. I have two e-mail accounts (aol and gmail) that are registered on my blackberry account. For some strange reason there are two duplicate icons of the same email addresses on the main screen that I can't find a way to delete. Anyone have any ideas how to delete the icons ?

Go to options, advanced options, service book. Look for the entries containing the email address. You can try deleting the duplicate. That may work for you. If not, delete all the entries containing the email address and then resend service books.

Try yanking battery with the device on, if it comes back up with 2 icons then delete all service books associated with that account and resend from you web setup page.

further edit- I'd delete both, some data may be different and so prevent you receiving mail on that account if new one is binned.

Options , Advanced , Service Books. Delete the email accouints you don't need. And reboot.

Actually, worm's idea is better (edit: better than my idea). At least that should be tried first.
