WiFi Upgrade
Please Login to Remove!
I'm new and this may be a quest that has been asked and answered in the past, here goes anyway.
This question pertains to 8310, AT&T Curve. Is there a way to install WiFi on the 8310? If so, does that way involve a hardward upgrade or maybe a software upgrade.
Any information concerning this subject will be greately appreciated.
Thank you.

Okay, no software upgrade and no hardware upgrade. How about a 3rd party app or applicance? Is there a 3rd party WiFi plug in that can be used with the 8310?
Thanks again.

Is there a way to pop the case on the 8310 and include a wifi card? If so, who would sell such a card.
Thanks

Again, no. There's no way. Those flash memory cards with WiFi do not work on BBs. There is no way to get WiFi on your 8310.

what are you trying to do that you need wifi on your 8310? The only way to get wifi on att is to get a unlocked 8320. Unless you want to completely reverse engineer the hand held and create a whole new phone. The simple answer is no there isn't any way to get an 8310 to work on wifi.

you wont be able to do that either, once you get down to the board its apoxied on and you will break it long before you can include the components. just buy an 8320 unlocked, and get a Bluetooth GPS puck

Thanks --- the answer has finally soaked into my hard head. I really do like my 8310, and won't be trading it in for a long time.
Thank you all for your time, answers, and patience.
