Default Looking for Beta Users of new Frugalytics Barcode Scanning App

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.

We're looking for beta users to try the new Frugalytics barcode scanning application for BlackBerry and provide us with some feedback.

With our new app, you'll be able to scan the barcode of any product to get comparison pricing from online and local retailers, product reviews and more.

We're also streaming some crazy deals that you'll have access to.

Please email me at [email address] if you're interested.

no dude, its with a camera and they can do a bit of OCR on the image to identify the code on teh barcode. they send this to their servers which then goes through their database to find the product and the price various retailers are offering.

I'm in... I seriously thought I would have to purchase an adapter of some sort. I never once gave the camera a thought.

I tried it, once you tell it to scan it just keeps clicking away, no way to stop it. How about manual mode to you can line up the bar code 1st and have a chance to compose?
Lots of ads, I guess the final ver you'll pay for it and no more ads? Good shopping tracker for some marketers. I uninstalled it, no real use for it right now.
