A few years ago, I was able to have more then one phone number on my cell phone. Does the BB Curve offer mutiple NAMs? I would like to have, as I had before, a FL phone number(727), and NYC (212) phone number, so that when called from either place, the caller isn't paying long distance charges.

I don't think they do that any more. I remember my first phone (got it for a penny from Radio Shack and I think Airtouch was my provider. I remember the NAM1 and NAM2 settings, but I never used them.

Some providers may have this feature offered in a slightly different way. For example, Rogers offers a second voice line service which is exactly this.

Googling Rogers Second Voice Line will get you the info on this. Not sure who else offers it.

I recently tried to get Rogers to add a line to my 8310. They claimed it's not supported on the Curve despite their site giving instructions on how to use it on the 8300...

I also used this feature on my old AT&T TDMA phone. I understand it can be done but the issue is with the carrier offering it.

You might also look into a Dual SIM adapter to allow 2 cards to fit at once.
