Does anybody know anything about locking the different applications on your blackberry?
Is it possible?

Nope. It's the entire device or nothing.

don't let anyone use your blackberry. I don't let anyone touch mine and I lock it the instant I put it down or in my pocket. If someone wants to see it, they can see it locked.

It's a ***** because I have to enter my password 50 times a day, but nobody has any business looking through ANY of it. My entire life is on that device. What individual applications would you want to lock?

Actually, I'd like to see locking on an application level as well (messages & address book mostly). Even though it's my own personal unit on BIS with no company information on it, I prefer to keep my private information secure beyond the ICE information on the lock screen.

i don't think it's an ICE (In Case of Emergency) screen as much as an "owner" screen. Although i suppose you can use it that way if you wish.

Are you looking for another layer of security to protect your information because you don't think the password lock is adequately secure? turn on encryption and enter a secure password and to say your information is safe would be an understatement. No second layer is required beyond that.
