i actually got pretty lucky cuz i turned in my tmobile mda vario 36 days after i got it. asked the store manager for an exception so i can change to the 8700 when it came out.

all i have to say is that mda vario is nothing compared to 8700. it was buggy as hell and way too slow. you can get alot of programs and do a lot more but for functionality of what you really need, WM5 fails compared to BB.

i love the 8700 to death.

Iwould buy a WM5 phone with BBC on it. I resally liked the 8125 I had from Cingular but hated the lack of one handed use and the virtual dial pad for inputting voice prompts was a joke. I travel internationally so the unlimited intl data roaming is a huge selling point for me over my former Treo 650 and any future Treo with WM5 unless I can use my BB intl data plan with it.
