Default How to remove the “Activation Required” on an Unlocked Telus Tour

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone help me on how to remove the "Activation required" apprearing above the time and replace with Rogers which should appear. I have unlocked my Telus Tour 9630 and everything works perfectly except the annoying "Activation Required" Telus won't give the MSL Password. Please help from others in similar situations. Thank to all who can help me out on this.

Yes I do; I can received email perfectly; I set to 2G because 3G is only 2100. The only problem I have is how to remove the Activation Required" and replaced by my service provider Rogers and replacing My Number to that of my actual ROGERS CELL FONE #.

Tried battery pull too. I think there is a procedure needing to get the MSL code by: dowloading the following:
1. uniCDMA
2. Hexworkshop
and then call ##XXXXXX (XXXXXX is the MSL password), Press Send. I forgot the procedure.

It prompts for a password? Never seen that - must be carrier specific. I've always been able to goto the phone screen and type ##000000<SEND> to enter the CDMA Service Edit Screen. I'm shocked that VZW allows access and other carriers restrict it.

Dieter, do as described above.

For your caller ID:

My Caller ID name/number do not show when I get a call or SMS - BlackBerryFAQ
