Hi..I am thinking of getting 8230 on verizon...I know that angle of flip is different from most flip phones...but does it make it hard to hear sometimes..I mean that you can't easily get the earpiece completely flush to your ear so in a noisy environment does this present a problem???? Thanks

Yes, it does take some getting used to but with time it's no longer a big deal. But definitely not as "comfortable" to use as a typical flip phone IMO. And yes, sometimes you might think the phone volume is not as loud as it should be, and you just need to move the earpiece flip a bit...

Had the same problem when I first got my 8230. One of my dumb assed buddies suggested that since nothing can be done to change the phone, then maybe I should look into getting my ears adjusted...!

Seriously,you will soon get used to this phenom and grow to love the device.
