Sure there is, if you have it enabled...

The following is an explanation of reconciliation intervals for each device:
  • For devices based on Java™, wireless message reconciliation is automatically performed every three to five minutes, or when the number of items to be reconciled reaches 100. If the device is idle, reconciliation occurs at random intervals.
  • For devices based on C++, wireless message reconciliation is automatically performed every ten to 15 minutes, or when the number of items to be reconciled reaches 100. Reconciliation only occurs if there is more than one event to transmit.

There is a newer KB article, but I can't seem to find one for 4.1.x servers...

From the 4.1.x documentation:

Quote:
Wireless message reconciliation enables users on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to manage their messages so that the BlackBerry device and the desktop email application synchronize message status changes automatically between them. Wireless message reconciliation is turned on by default on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and occurs every 15 minutes.

Also depends on the platform and event.... GW and DOM are a pull, where as EX uses MAPI which is almost a true push. There are also a bunch of other intervals, for example, an address book entry in GW can take up to 4 hours from the desktop to device, but almost instantly from the device to the desktop.

This would be a good FAQ or list to start based on platform....
