Default Cabinet Folders delete

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

we use GroupWise 7.0.1 with BES 4.1.1.9.
Now, one User with a 8700g delete a Cabinet Folder at the GroupWise Client
but the mobile Device shows allways the Cabinet Folder. We have tested
to press syncronize now at the 8700g - but no result. The Device shows
all Cabinet Folder include the "delete" Folder.

Does anybody knows what the problem is?

I don't want to delete the complete mobile Device and start the Enterprise
Activation new.

Thanks
Paul

Are you trying to delete the whole cabinet folder, or a folder under the cabinet folder?

I want to delete only under cabinet folder one special folder
example:
navigate to cabinet folder - one special folder name is: news
click on the news folder - delete.

I tested with different folder - but it doesn't work (sync. into mobile device)
I can't find the Folder after delete in GroupWise 7.0 Client but I can find the
Folder at the Mobile Device.

Thanks

we only sync./use the inbox for redirection.
we don't use other folders - but if we want to move a message
into the cabinet - we are able to do this.

i can't understand - what is the reason that we can delete
the example folder with the groupwise client - but it will not sync. into
the mobile device 8700

thanks

The folder should disappear from the BlackBerry if it is deleted from GroupWise. It will not occur instantly though. You may want to explore these KB articles to re-sync the folder structure:

Unable to see folders and subfolders on the BlackBerry device

Incomplete folder list scan prevents message reconciliation

here's a semi-related question...

on the 8800 the messages that were supposed to be filed in other folders appear in the main inbox in addition to their respected folders. how can you force it to only appear in their separate folders and not display in the inbox.

this is with respect to the handheld only.

In messages....

Options -> General Options -> Hide Filed Messages

Is that what you meant?
