Do a hard reset (pull the battery) of your BB then try logging in.

This message occurs when one of your Jabber servers is no longer working. If you log in to Psi (or whichever desktop client you used to set things up) you will see that no one for that server is online. You will have to add a new Jabber server.

The overflow message occurs because Google Talk is trying to display a message for each member of your buddy list (from that server) telling you that it can't find them all at once and the BlackBerry OS can't handle it.

so how do we avoid the message overflow so that we won't continue to get the error?

The only solutions I've come up with to permanently avoid the error are:
1. Regularly check Google Talk from a PC to see if anyone on your buddylist appears online; if no one is, then you need to change Jabber servers.
2. Run a Jabber server of your own.

To remove the message, you need to use Psi, Miranda, or whatever you used to set up the Jabber server with Google Talk and remove the server.
