DAMN DAMN DAMN,

My bb 8900 fell inside the toilet, you dont even wanna imagine how i was jumping round all crazy lool

i took it out immediately and grabed a towel next to me and dried it all up and took off the cover and took out the battery, then i immediately got the hair dryer and start drying it up without its battery or cover, after 20mins silly me i though its dried up and was not patient enuff to remember that it wud need more time as i was rushing becoz i was in need of its use...

neway then i put the battery back after drying it for those 20mins and i heard this frying crackling sounds and i took out the battery straight away and wasnt sure but it probly burnt out.

anyway now im still keeping it under a warm light to dry it up without th battery...

is there any chance of my bb working after 3 days of drying??
wen that frying sound occured, does that mean only my battery is broken or is that the end of my blackberry????????????????

Whats the solution??????

Sounds to like the BB is done! There is always a chance but it sounds unlikely that your device will work properly again

Try with another battery becasue maybe only battery are done.....

Thanx for letting me know, time to get the new bold 9700
Btw does anyone know if ther will be a newer version of the 9700 bold or the 8250 curve ???

I am gona temporarily be using my old pearl, I might wait if theres a new bb coming out soon.

The 9700 is pretty sweet from everything Ive read about it. The only "new" model is a slider type model which doesnt appeal to me in the least. I think there is a new Tour coming soon as well. Maybe someone else can help you with more info.
