Default 9700 T-Mo's MyFav: A quirk?

Please Login to Remove!

I understand that MyFav interface is currently unavailable, which means I will not have myfaves bubbles visible on the phone. True? Do I need to wait for an update? A bit silly, no?

That's the feeling I got from the box insert.

I found the app annoying in the way it duplicated 5 of my contacts for no good reason. I for one am very happy that it is gone. It kept installing, I had no say in the matter it just keep getting pushed shortly after deletion. The app was a waste space I could use for more useful applications.

And who knows how long T-Mo will keep the MyFavs program around with the new plans being unlimited. I actually removed the MyFavs application from the OS each time I loaded a new one so I wouldn't have it in the task switcher. (Was doing the same thing with VVM as I use YouMail)

At least you can still manage them online, and I bet through the account management web interface on the phone too if needed.

Thanks for the input guys. Once I started using Quick Launch it replaced MyFav, even before switching to the 9700. Still, I find it interesting.
