Default Tmobile Blackberry in OCT

Please Login to Remove!

I've been having problems with my BB Curve and asked the Tech if any new BBs where due out. His Response was in Oct a BB similar to the I-phone will be out. He also said that Tmobile sent them the Pics of the phone. I dont know if this guy was pulling my chain or not but sounds good to me.

He might be speaking about the "Javelin" (model 8900) - although he may be making stuff up, too.

I want the Javelin! It looks like a good replacement for my 8310.

Maybe he's referring to the KickStart/8220? That one was rumored to be heading to T-Mobile soon. The "iPhone-like" BB sounds like the touchscreen Thunder/Storm, but that's starting as CDMA and going to Verizon.

Iphone like means touchscreen. No BB then, unless it's the Thunder, but that's not coming out for TMo.

T-Mobile is referring to the Javelin as their next generation Curve. In October. Not the Android. Not the Thunder. Kickstart (flip phone) also. Not sure on the timing of that.

Default its the bold

Tmobile was probably referring to the BB BOLD because of the screen quality.

They are going to carry the BOLD and its supposed to arrive in OCT

No they aren't.
The BOLD works on different 3G frequencies and won't do any 3G on T-Mobile's network.
T-Mobile is not carrying the BOLD. They are carrying the JAVELIN and the KICKSTART.

AT&T is the BOLD carrier for the USA.

OK?

I am going to scoop up the Javelin whenever it drops (hopefully in October). Will be a nice upgrade to the Curve...

The next BB on T-Mobile will be the Kickstart. It would make sense for them to carry the Javelin but I havnt heard anything about it launching this year. I hope it does though!

Yea, the kickstart "should" be next, I don't see the Javelin coming until December at the earliest, and I think thats pushing it.

Thank you.. It's really agitating to read the "T-Mobile is getting the Bold in October" statements. It's not coming out. Not anytime soon. 1Q of 2009, maybe.

It's the Javelin or the KickStart. My $$ is on the Kickstart. Look at the second icon along the bottom of the screen. MyFaves anyone? We haven't seen enough information on the Javelin to warrant a release, but the KickStart is all but ready to go.

I agree the kickstart should be first.
