When I receive a text it only lights up red for a couple of minutes, anyway to keep it red until I read it?

And how do I set my phone so I get a notification when I'm on the phone that i got a text??


And is there anyway at all to get any apps/themes for free w/o the data plan??

1) No
2) Only one radio connection for phone, so new email won't show.
3) You can only get themes that you can connect through DM as you won't have the Browser to download.

I believe when I'm on a call, I'll hear a faint beep with my ear to the handset when I receive a text.

Where can I get themes for free? What is dm?

Check our Media Center section for free themes and links to more free themes. DM is Desktop Manager which can be downloaded from the BlackBerry website.

For themes, pimpmyberry themes4bb. You will NOT be able to download OTA. Over-The-AIr. I should mention that unless its a financial decision, you really should consider getting a data plan. You are very limited in what you can do.

You can turn on "notify me during calls" for text, mms, email under profiles>advanced>(whichever profile you're using) Its the last option. This will give you the beep when your on a call and new messages arrive.
