Default BlackBerry Bold - Attaching photographs from SD card to e-mail is very slow

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Each time I attempt to attach a photograph from the 1GB Micro SD card in my BlackBerry Bold to an e-mail I have drafted it takes my Bold an excessively long time, e.g. 3-4 minutes, to work through the folder/file hierarchy and then to be able to select and attach a photograph.

Is this normal? Or could this slowness be caused by the type of SD card I am using? I am using a Micro Center 1GB Micro SD card.

It is so slow that it stops me from trying to attach photographs or files to e-mails.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

Are you trying to attach the photo right after you take it, or are you doing the compose email first, then going to attach the file?

Just curious... I don't have a Bold (have a Curve) and if I try to email a photo right after I take it it is super slow. But if I take the picture, then back out of the camera app and compose/attach that way, it's much faster. Probably not related, but thought I'd throw it out there.

I am trying to compose an e-mail and then attach a photograph or multiple photographs. This method is very slow.

I am experiencing the opposite to you by the sounds of it. When I take a photograph using the camera and then e-mail it immediately this method is relatively quick.
