Default Loss of signal / Missed calls

Please Login to Remove!

Getting fed up now as my Blackberry 9000 keeps showing the reception as being either “edge” or “sos”.
I am on Vodafone contract and have started receiving more frequent text messages saying that I have had missed calls; this is highly irritating as some of the calls were very important.
I need to know how reception can be improved in order to stop the loss of calls.

Loss of signal can be many things. The most frequent thing is the limited cell signal in the area. If you know someone with the same carrier service ask if they have issues. If you can do it when your together in the area. Check your signal strength vs. theirs on the phone. If you show limited or none and they show good you may have a hardware issue. In some instances an App can cause conflict if it's constantly doing a network download. Facebook etc.
You can also try a battery pull and wait for a couple of minutes and replace. It will do a clean reboot.

Last resort is hardware.

Guess!! this question is duplicated!!

This network issue, most times happen due to the following reasons

1. Poor signal strength
2. Hardware issue
3. Software issue

On most occasions re-booting and formatting solves these issue. If not, contact your local service men to fix this issue
