All good things flow from having a BlackBerry data plan. I get my Hotmail pushed directly to my BlackBerry, and the good thing is that it's only my inbox, not my junk mail. I get 7 or 8 emails per day that I want to see in Hotmail, and another 40 or so that are spam. Why do I need to get both my "male member" and my breasts enlarged? You'd think it would be one or the other. And then there's that business deal from some dead banker's widow in Africa. There sure seems to be a lot of dead banker widows lately! But I digress. Get the BB data plan.

When you go to the personal email setup application, make sure after you enter your email and password you do not enter an extra space afterwards because it will read that as part of your email and password. Also, to separate your email and sms icons, go to the messages icon, general options, sms and email inboxes- separate. There should be a separate icon for sms and mms. If not, make sure you do not use your carrier's theme. Also, try a battery pull and check every folder to see if it is in there.

Details, please, we've already asked for that.
What exact error do you get in the personal email setup icon when you enter the email address and password?
I am thinking IF you DO have the personal email setup icon, you must have THE correct BlackBerry Data Plan.

You might do better by going to the Rogers BIS page, logging in, and setting up your account there. Once it's done you can click the link to resend your service books and the new email account should show up on your Bold.

Well, that's not detail.
Is this icon labeled "personal email set" or what?
and the error only says "invalid"

I believe it is asking for your BIS login information and not your email and password at that point. You need to login at that screen, THEN add your email.
If you don't have a username/password, there should be a create username link. Otherwise, I would suggest as Rambo and use the internet site he linked.
