Onboard Device Mass Storage Error (STORM)

Yes, I know I will be told to search before posting, but I have searched EVERYWHERE for an answer to this I will also list the things I have tried:
When I plug my storm in to my computer the BLACKBERRY2(micro SD card) will pop up in My Computer. But the BLACKBERRY1 (internal memory) never does anymore (well every once in a while but I have been unable to determine when/why it does. I have read many-a-forum and have tried several things:
1) That batch file that is supposed to fix it (DID NOTHING)
2) Something about going into control panel and removing the driver (problem is I can't see the internal memory as a drive)
3) Sometimes it seemed if I pulled out the SD card and then put it back in that it would reset something and they both would show up (but lately that has been to no avail)
As I only have a 2GIG SD card I need that GIG on my phone for storage (also it's just a waste to have a GIG and not use it)
