Not sure about the pictures but another Verizon customer tried to send me a video joke and I'm not getting it. I'm getting regular TMs fine.

P.S. GO HAWKEYES!!!!
It was 119 after the NE2, they automatically took the 50 MIL off, then some other kind of corporate discount. The lady I spoke with was super helpful. I even asked to speak to her supervisor to brag on her because of how helpful she was.

Did you call corporate sales? I was quoted $249 with NE2 by our corporate VZW rep, and $204 w/ NE2 when I called the Corporate 800 number today.

Just called 611 from my Treo700w. Maybe that is why I got all the discounts, LOL.

Just curious as to why all the excitement around the VZW Curve when there are numerous next-gen BB models on the horizon. I have a Red 8830 which I like very much. I'd consider going to the Curve, but I have to ask why? A slightly smaller form factor? A camera? Its tempting but so is saving the $$ and waiting for the newer models which all the BB sites are providing info on (ie, 9000). Is there another practical reason to move to the Curve, besides having a new, cool toy?

Just thinking aloud here.

My rep said 99, and i got charged that, so dunno what your rep is doing. THis was after some instant rebates and discounts as well as upgrade pricing.

most of the people just want the latest and greatest device. Its called disposable income. A thing that has gone by the way side for me with the economy in the tank.

For me I think it was just joining this forum that increased my excitement for the curve. I also wanted some thing like the Q. Even with new BB's on the horizon being a Verizon curstomer I have become accustom to waiting a year after they have been release on other carriers. My guess is the 9000 will be a while for it to come to Verizon going by their current track record.

Oh who am I kidding I just want a new toy!!!

HAHAHA!! Ok, thanks for the thoughts and feedback! I hear ya Dawg - the levels of disposable income has decreased for myself as well. I need to save up for my next tank of gas!

New toy, camera will help me at work. Also, as a Verizon customer, it is at least a year out for anything like the 9000. That is not 100%, but most likely a year after everyone else gets it. Plus, this device already has EVDO with fast connection speeds, I believe one of the draws of the 9000 is the 3G connectivity for those that don't have it yet.
