Good possibility as T-Mobile just labeled their High Speed Data Packet Access (3.5G) as 4G. It shouldn't need a different wireless radio as Sprint does with WiMax or Verizon does with LTE.

Because BlackBerrys have always been business-oriented, data speed has never been a huge priority. And BlackBerrys are much more efficient with data than other smartphones so they do well with slower data connections. That's beginning to change as BlackBerry continues to move into the consumer space, but as others have said RIM is S_L_O_W to change their radios on the various models.
