Default Strange things are afoot on the verizon network!

Please Login to Remove!

There I was minding my own business trying to download vlingo to my pearl through an sms link when I get a message that I do not have enough memory for the app. So I go clean up some stuff and just for good measure decide to delete my Y Go! app just for insurance. When my phone reboots (automatically I might add) there is a new icon for Trooper Typing on my app screen though the app is not installed (I checked) and my saved sms link from vlingo is deleted What's going on!!!

You should see all the 'bloatware' on the Sprint Curve. I have preloads for:

AIM
Pocket Express
Sprint Music Store
Facebook
Google Talk
Yahoo IM
Sprint Software Store

I just created a folder and put them all in there so they are not cluttering up my screen.

my bb also got the typing trooper game for some weird reason, i installed that game about a week ago but i already deleted it. the last app i downloaded was the outbreak game from the same site couple of days ago.

when i click on the typing trooper icon, it brings up the blackberry browser loading screen.
i was gonna remove it using the apploader but the my apploader is not detecting it...O_O

First thing this morning I did a routine battery pull as my memory was dropping and POOF I have this typing trooper icon! I went into service books and deleted it...batter pull...it it didn't come back after the restart (yet!). I have had BB on verizon now for over a year and a half...since when did they start sending programs with a reboot? I'm not liking that very much! Is big brother watching me???? Now I'm going to get paranoid all over again!!!!

Ok. After a couple minutes after the delete and battery pull the trooper came back! I guess I'm doomed to be stuck with the darn thing!

Your carrier can send you a service book anythime they want. if you delete it, many will come back when the device registers on the network again. Just hide the icon. They take upe almost no memory so its no big deal.
