If anyone is interested in the above, I found a neat 19 piece set. It's labeled for the BlackBerry 8330, but I'm not sure why. It's just a torx tool set, and will work with any Berry. The set is $8.99. If anyone is interested:

I have a husky tool that has changeable tips stored in the handle and it has been great. I bought it when I used to work on hard drives and it works great for phones. The tips are starting to wear out a bit and I have not found the same one to purchase again...

EDIT: I found this one - similar to my husky

Home Depot used to sell the Husky brand... the Lowes deal is their Kobalt store brand... but similar - stores the double ended tips in the handle.

This is a great tool. Works on 8310, 8700, 7290 and I suspect the newer ones that I have not taken apart yet.

The only issue with some of these sets are they are very cheap and ware down fast. But for a couple of bucks, who cares right?

Actually I mentioned the wear on the Husky but it is actually minimal. The tips are hardened. A very good quality and compact design... (I give it a 10 on a 10)
