Default What am I doing wrong on beta OS load?

Please Login to Remove!

Wife's 8330 has been running slow lately so I decided to load a new OS. Had been running 5.0.0.230 for a while. My issue is after trying several versions, the main theme looks like the old 4.5 theme with the mostly white wallpaper with the ugly icons (the old mailbox messages icon for example). Before the wipe it always had the new mostly blue/black 5.0 theme. There are no other themes showing now, besides the default Dimension themes, all looking like the old 4.5 style.

First tried 5.0.0.438 with lyricidal's 2.0 hybrid on top of it, then tried just base .438, then tried a base .230 again. Home screens and theme is still the ugly 4.5 style. Anyone have thoughts on what's happening with the default 5.0 theme disappearing?

Thanks in advance!

Not an expert by any means, but thought I would offer my 2 cents.....did you remove theme's when you loaded the OS? Did you remove the precision zen theme ..... I did this one time trying to download an OS and got a white background with really basic icons.

Hopefully with a lint free rag or you ed up with fur balls...

@OP = I agree with thecelt1974, sounds like you are using a theme that is not included in the build you loaded. Try changing the theme and see if it fixes itself. If so, then that is your problem. You need to find out what theme she had and reload it for her.

Wiped with BBsak after a full backup. I'm not using any 3rd party theme. The default Verizon zen and all the dimension themes are loaded, and they all show the old 4.5 style icons. Just using the default zen theme that came in the 5.0 OS.
