Okay - i am new to the BB scene and am looking for some support. I have several issues with the phone to this point and have tried resolving the issues with no success.

Description of setup - I am not on BES, syncing with Outlook through Exchange Server.

1. When I work on my computer and delete emails, they do not delete on my Blackberry, although when i delete from my BB the emails on my computer delete. It is only syncing oneway, even if i hard sync with the cable...?

2. There is an issue syncing my Calander without using BES. I am looking at installing Google Calander Sync - is this the best solution or is there a better solution?

Initially i had a problem that everytime I sync'd with the cable, it would duplicate every single contact. I think this has been worked out.

Any feedback on any of the above would greatly help. Thanks in advance!

First, welcome to the forums.

My setup is very similar to yours, although I have migrated over to a BES system lately. Here are some observations.

1. That is pretty much normal with your sort of setup. Syncing with the cable does nothing to email -- doesn't touch that part of the world. Switching to a BES would give you 2-way email sync.

2. What is the issue with syncing your calendar? An Outlook calendar should sync just fine -- better than a Google calendar, from what I have read.

3. Glad you got the duplicate contacts issue resolved.

Clarify the issue with the calendar. That seems to be the main bone of contention here.
