Default How Long Before DST Push Returns Failed

Please Login to Remove!

I didn't use the push of the DST to the users - sent them the link to website. But I have 1/2 dozen on holidays, out-of-country, don't use their device very often, ignoring the issue, etc. I want to assign the DST patch to them and send it, and hoping that when they do turn the device on, the patch will get sent out.

Is there a time that it will stop trying? i.e. after xx days. Does it just get queued up like the mail does? And when they turn the device on will it start loading the patch just like it downloads queued mail?

Queued and waits for deployment. If they dont turn their device on, they dont get the update.

For devices that are on and functioning, you should see the update about 4+ hours after you deploy.

Tks. Darth. That is what I suspected. Just wanted to make sure as I am away next week, so going to push this before I leave and forget about it.

Also, with the new patch manager, if they don't reboot when they are prompted, then the 4th time they get prompted, it automatically reboots, finishing the install of the patch. Just fyi
