Default Free Themes: Blank Homescreens (83xx & 88xx)

Please Login to Remove!

Here are some themes that I made real quick that are blank on the homescreen so you can use whatever wallpaper you want. For all you power users that use the quick shortcut keys to get to most of your applications these themes are great. The Mac theme isn't as "wallpaper friendly" as the AT&T/Crossguy one but they both are good when it comes to changing wallpapers.

Theme name: Crossguy & Leopard
Theme author: Well me of course! Brian
Theme credits: AT&T for the icons, and Mac icons out on the web
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 83xx, 88xx and 4.2 and up
Download Link(s): At the bottom of post
Theme Cost: FREE!!

Lemme know what you guys think...a vista one is out now, just gotta look at my Vista thread

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

Figured some people would like them since you can use the shortcut keys to get to most programs and have really no need for the icons

Really nice! Any chance you can make the clock big on the ATT version? And make available for the 88xx?

I thought it may work on the 88xx but could be wrong, ill see what I can do to make it bigger. Was trying to keep it wallpaper friendly and the app content font is about the best and I can't change the font height but maybe ill find something else

Nice work

I have the same concept with my Laker theme. There really is no use for icons on the home screen if you're using shortcuts. Plus, I like the clean look of it.

I like the ability to have the wallpaper there without getting it covered up.

I'm lazy. I never put anything on my bb that I can't get ota, except for new OSs obviously. I've downloaded these and will be installing them! Thanks!

Any more thoughts on a bigger clock? I don't wear a watch anymore and just look at my bb all the time. But with my advancing age, the eyesight isn't what it used to be.....

Well my Vista theme that I have has a bigger clock, and I will release that with a blank version. The biggest thing with these is that I wanted it to be wallpaper friendly and the Crossguy theme uses the "Application content" font and you can't adjust that in any way but it can be seen on just about any wallpaper. I haven't been able to find a font that does that exact thing. If I find one then I will definatly release it with a bigger clock cause I use my BB as a clock as well.

Thanks Dani, I plan to re-release these for the 8100 now that I know a few more things with Plazmic. Just keep checking.

Nice to see someone in Ohio as well on the boards...there are a few of us
