Default Pearl Calendar/Theme Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

I tried searching but came up empty handed. I have a pearl w/ T-Mobile. I have the Zen theme and really like it but I want it to show upcoming calendar events on the main page like the Dimension Today theme does. Does anybody know if this is possible and how I could go about setting it up like this.

Thanks,
Matt

No, that's a characteristic of the Dimension Today theme. You can't do it with the Zen theme.

Default try Today Plus

You should download and try out the BB Dimension Today Plus theme, which is kind of a mix between the Zen and Today themes. Includes the messages, call log, and calendar entries like the Today theme, but you can also scroll down and get the 5 shortcut icons like the Zen theme. Only drawback for T-Mobile is that you can't have the MyFaves app active all the time like you can with the Zen, but I assigned it to one of my shortcut icons and it works fine.

Regards,
John

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the way the dates show up in the Today Plus theme? Example, I want December 16th to show up as 12/16 like it does in every other theme, but in the Today Plus the is shows up as 16/12. Day first, month second. I cannot find any place to switch that, and in every other theme it is displayed the way I like. If anyone has a way to work around this that would be great.

Can the BB Dimension Today Plus be downloaded on the 8100 from Cingular? When i go to options, themes, download themes...I got a page where i can purchase ringtones, backgrounds, etc.

I currently use the preinstalled Dimension Today theme but the Plus looks better.

I have the Cingular Pearl and have downloaded that theme, so yes, it can be done.

I'm also wondering about the Euro date vs. US date format for Dimmension Today Plus theme. Can this be switched somewhere from dd/mm to mm/dd? I like the theme, but why won't it default to the language settings?

I just installed the Today Plus theme to check it out. What happened to the email icons? I have the messages icon on the home screen, but where are my individual email accounts?

(Already sent service books, and pulled the battery)

If you go to the programs (Press your Menu Key) when off the home page they will be listed there as part of the icons.

Hey did anyone else notice that when you change themes you loose your Call Log? I just switch from the Default Cingular to BB Dimension today Plus and boob all my logs gone!

No, the email icons are not listed there. That's my point.

And when I switched themes my call log stayed intact.

Yeah, that's what it was. But why were they hidden? I never hid my email icons and this is the first time I've ever used the Today Plus theme. Is that what the default it for this theme??

Some how Cingular got it to go to media net for teh theme download. Type in the address: http/mobile.blackberry.com/mss/extras and this should take you right to the downloads page. IF you want to make it quicker, email teh link and open it from there. Also remember to save it as a book mark and name it some thing like BB downloads.

I been using Today Plus for a while now.

It does seem to hide your individual email account icons by DEFAULT.

There is no way to change the date on the home screen calendar reminders. I guess it's european thing.

You cannot change the home screen Messages, Call Log, & Calendar display, those are there to stay. You can however, change the bottom 5 icons. To do so, just hit the Menu key from the Home Screen...and move the icons you want on the home screen, to the top row. To move them, select the icon you want, hit Menu Key, and select move, just trackball it over to the top, and hit the trackball. Once you are done, hit the Back Key or End Key, to view the Home Screen again, and the bottom will display the 5 icons you had on the top row.
