Talking Anyone have a 16GB card yet?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering...anyone get one yet?

I have a 4 gig in my 8300 now but am anxious to try and snag a 16gig for a somewhat decent price. Figured this would be a good thread to throw what ya paid for yours if you got one.

When the 8300 was first released the cheapest 4gig (at that date) was at verizon and verizon.com. I'm guessing that may not be the case this time.

Dreaming of a bold......

So far the 12GB microSD is the only one out there. I have checked SanDisk, so far the only info on 16GB is a press release from January.

Interesting...thanks.

I didn't look up the 16gig, I incorrectly assumed it was out and avail.! Talk about looking before jumping Isleaquatica-niuniu! :::spank:::

I hope they have some mediocre deals on them...I'd like to leave my 4gig in my curve.

Thanks for ur post about it...

They are new, being offered this large (the micros) as far as I know it. Not exclusively for the bold, thats not what I meant, but I mean, that large size in general.

Guud times, I cannot wait to snag one and use it in an external memory slot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! It's sad how much a blackberry excites me!

I ordered one from our wholesale supplier, Tessco. On back order until September 19th. They were supposed to be released in June; but it may be there is a high demand for them.

Also, I spoke with at&t EDHD a few ago for a tech issue w/ one of our BB's. I told him I had a 8gb card in my 8820. He said get it out of their. It will fry the software. He said 2gb was safe.

If a 16gb MicroSD card comes out that'll be all the excuse i'll need to sell my iPod nano

The volume on the Bold is louder than the iPod and if you plug in a quality set of inner earphones (for example i have a set of Sony MDR-EX32LP Earphones and the sound quality is excellent!!

Anyone care to share where they bought the 12GB MicroSD card from? That would be a nice fill-in card until the 16GB cads ship. Thanks!

Perhaps he should read up on what his product supports:

SANDISK is here at the CTIA show in San Francisco. The biggest they'll discuss is the 8gb card and that's all they have on display in the microSDHC format.

Just ordered 16gb microsdhc from fommy.com (price seemed really high). Googling it seems to have them at a bunch of UK suppliers, but in the US this is the only one I could find. Let you know what I find out.
