Default Blackberry 8520 Curve WTF!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Why does it take 10 min to start up the phone

Why did they swap the key lock and open buttons

Why does my 8520 restart when I switch on bluetooth after upgrade to RIM 5

Why do Blackberry not supply a proper setup for bluetooth with a driver for Windows 7

Why do I need to remove the battery just to reconnect to BIS

Why does Blackberry Messenger fails randomly when sending posts

Why cant you rotate and save a pic on the device

Why do I need maps with a phone that does not have a gps

Why must I be connected to the internet just to sync data from my own pc to the phone

Why do they still implement phones with gprs

Why are they still stuck on 2 mega pixal camera's

WHY? WHY? WHY?

The purchase of this device was by far the biggest waste of money in my life

You obviously didn't do your homework before you bought it. Take it back and get something that better fits your needs.

Wow....

Yes, BB sure doesn't sound like it's for you. Especially not the 8520. If you want a 'Cadillac' for a device, you should have bought a higher end device - at least a Bold (9xxx model).

I agree with Dick Whiskey

Thanks Dubdub for your inspirational wisdom on how to solve problems.

Buying a new higher model phone which also gets numerous posts from users on this forum about their unique problems will solve our own.

But hey why not, then at least we can complain about 2 phones instead of 1, or may be we can swap them for an iPhone an see at which angle we should hold the device for best reception.

It's obvious in the year 2010 that its not the manufacturers responsibility to properly test their products or software like most other brands do over the ages.

Consumers should except that nothing is perfect.

If we wanted to be treated like a child we would have bought an Iphone.

For quite a while *everything* (from getting your plumbing fixed to the creation of windows 7) is subject to the 80/20 rule

Takes 20% of your time to complete 80% of the job
Takes 80% of your time to complete the remaining 20% of the job

Companies can no longer afford to complete the last 20% of the job - in case of electronic thats now left to 'after market' updates (if you get any support at all)

In the work place, any worker completing any job to perfection will be considered 'too slow' - they simply dont have the time/money to fund more than 80% of the job

To put this in perspective, for every negative point listed i could list 100 positive ones which is pretty good quality of finish based on 80/20

It took 20% of your time to post this nonsense but it will devour 80% of my life trying to fathom out why you are so satisfied with a defective product.

Suckers like you make up 80% of the reason that companies develop poor quality products.

Imagine the carnage if the airbag industry had to adopt your way of thinking.

You are obviously making excuses for having spent money on an imperfect product.

Good luck with your 80% effective Blueberry.
