Tried it on my bold with 4.6.0.282 and had to delete it and tried it again after the 7/19 update and today it just stopped working would not send or recieve...back to the origginal one with 4.6

i took Zero's tip and re-registered with my network, and it worked like a charm for a while, and then it showed everyone as unreachable.
I was on .282. i had deleted 5.0, downgraded my OS to .247 and then i managed to get the 4.6 back. i think i'm just going to wait till we get a better version..stable i mean.

I'm getting repeated emails from BBMADMIN on two addresses, not all of them, since I installed it. For the first week or so, I'd get that email on one address only, every day or so. This morning I found 3 or 4 copies of it send to a different address.

The contents of the email are:

"Hello,

Thank you for using BlackBerry Messenger. To help prevent unauthorized use of this email address, we need to confirm its ownership. Please turn on your BlackBerry and allow it to receive this email. The email will be automatically processed by BlackBerry Messenger. Please do not delete this email.

If you do not use BlackBerry Messenger, you can ignore this email.

Thank you,
BlackBerry Messenger Team" --below that there is a string of alphanumeric characters.

Does anyone know what this is all about?

DM will not allow me to install on 4.7.0.151 OS on my Storm but was working with .148 before I upgrade.

Now I get the same "application not compatible" when I try to load it into DM.
